The Crodamide series of fatty acid amides are used by major global plastic manufacturers to address issues related to slipperiness, opening, and demolding. Crodamides are derived from natural plants, are biodegradable, environmentally friendly, and compatible with various types of plastics.

When the plastic is in a molten state, Crodamide amide molecules are evenly distributed within the plastic. After the plastic cools and solidifies, the amide molecules migrate to the surface, forming a thin lubricating layer. This layer reduces surface friction and prevents unwanted adhesion between plastic layers. The surface friction of plastics treated with amides changes over time.

The choice of slip agent depends on the type of plastic and the required level of slipperiness. The Crodamide series offers excellent thermal and color stability and has obtained various EU and U.S. FDA food certifications.

【Product Applications】
1. Erucamide is an excellent slip and anti-blocking agent for polyethylene and polypropylene films, especially LLDPE and CPP. It is recommended for use when reducing friction between films or between films and production equipment, as well as improving packaging line performance.
2. It provides outstanding internal lubrication in PVC.
3. It accelerates extrusion and blow molding rates, resulting in smooth and glossy finished products.
4. It can be used as a dispersant in lubricants, dyes, and coatings.
5. It serves as a high-quality dispersant for ink products.

(1) When used in films, erucamide reduces:

* Internal friction during processing

* Friction between films and conveying equipment, thereby increasing production output and simplifying the handling of end products (e.g., packaging)

(2) It acts as a high-quality dispersant for inks. It provides anti-blocking, anti-adhesion, abrasion resistance, scratch resistance, and slip properties for surface (composite) inks, preventing ink from falling off rollers during high-speed printing and enhancing surface smoothness and gloss.

(3) It serves as a modifier and melting point adjuster for waxes.

(4) It functions as a lubricant for photographic sensitized materials (coatings), an additive for cigarette filter membranes, a textile softener, a lubricant additive, and more.
